About us

In mid-2024, we launched Rubio Verde to build software that empowers creators, changes lives, and redefines online communities. In less than 18 months, we have built a profitable startup with both a B2C and a B2B product, now serving thousands of users. With the support of Christian Wolf and other leading creators in the weight loss and fitness space, we have grown quickly and gained unique insights into the creator economy. As a bootstrapped company scaling fast, we are looking for a Founder in Residence to support the management of the company and help us keep up with the pace.

WPF Community

Germany’s biggest weight-loss community app, which has already helped over 100,000 people reach their goals and live healthier lives. The platform combines expert guidance, strong peer support, and intuitive tools to make sustainable weight loss accessible to everyone. Location-based clustering helps our users find friends nearby, often giving them the chance to meet someone who truly understands their journey. The mobile app (iOS & Android) includes a habit tracker, workout planner, calorie tracker, recipes, content, and live Q&A sessions.

We already have a solid product foundation. The next step is to streamline our processes and optimise marketing to drive further growth.

Follow Flash helps creators, brands, and community managers streamline social media engagement. The B2B tool provides a smart inbox that brings together different channels and makes it easy to manage large teams. Our best-in-class voice cloning creates replies to comments and DMs that sound just like you. This makes community management twice as fast and improves quality, especially when combined with our knowledge systems that add your own expertise and philosophy. With built-in toxicity detection, you never miss harmful content in your community.

We started building this tool around nine months ago. Right now, we are defining the business model and working intensively on improving the product, especially the language models.

What you’ll achieve

You will have the unique opportunity to grow quickly. Our goal is for you to take on increasing responsibility. First co-leading a team with the founder, then leading your own team, and eventually managing multiple teams. Together with us and some of Germany’s leading fitness creators, you will:

- Leadership: Gradually take on more leadership responsibility, moving from co-leading a team to leading areas of the business.

- Product: Define new product features and work closely with developers to bring them to life.

- Marketing: Plan marketing campaigns and events, optimize our funnels, and collaborate with creators.

- Operations: Design clear processes for the community and ensure their smooth execution

In general, we want you to develop into a manager taking ownership of major parts of the business. You don’t need to be that person yet; our goal is to help you grow into it step by step.

Skills & Experience

We do not require a university degree. We hire for potential: Raw problem-solving ability, drive, and the speed at which you learn.

Signals we love to see:

⭐️ Built your own business (even small or local, with real users or revenue) or

⭐️ Driven passion projects over time (consistent work on your own idea for months, not days) or

⭐️ Shipped real things people use (apps, websites, content, events, automations) or

⭐️ Showed ownership in a team setting (club lead, hackathon organizer, sports captain, volunteer coordinator) or ⭐️ Experience in consulting, startups, or banking.

Furthermore, we look for:

- Strong analytical thinking (you have looked at funnels or cohorts, can use Excel or basic SQL, and make decisions from data)

- Clear communication (fluent German, solid English, concise writing)

- Bias to action and resilience (you move fast, handle ambiguity, and keep going when it gets hard)
